Gioia 22 skyscraper:
innovation and sustainability
for workplace well-being
Intesa Sanpaolo's new Gioia 22 tower, one of the newest buildings on the Milan skyline, was designed by architect Gregg Jones of Pelli Clarke & Partners. It is a perfect example of smart and responsible architecture. This skyscraper is strikingly iconic with its sloping south-east façade. This was achieved by placing the pillars at an angle to the vertical, so that the entire structure makes an X-twist.
A space dedicated to workplace well-being
The workspaces - divided into different areas, each with its own specific activity-related features - were designed with the aim of offering everyone the opportunity to work in comfort and promoting the growing need for agile work, fostering collaboration and a constant exchange of ideas, and ensuring active participation and socialisation. The new Gioia 22 tower houses the Insurance, Private Banking, Asset Management and Isybank Divisions.
