INTESA SANPAOLO: MOODY'S LOWERS THE BANK'S LONG-TERM RATING FOLLOWING SIMILAR ACTION ON ITALY.
SHORT-TERM AND BANK FINANCIAL STRENGTH RATINGS CONFIRMED
Torino, Milano, 6 October 2011 – Intesa Sanpaolo communicates that Moody's has lowered the Bank's long-term rating to A2 (from Aa3). This action follows Moody's announcement on 4 October that they had downgraded Italy’s government bond rating to A2 with a negative outlook.
The P-1 short-term rating and the C+ Bank Financial Strength Rating have been confirmed.
The outlook is negative.
