INTESA SANPAOLO (ISP), UNICREDIT (UC), CLESSIDRA AND NUOVE PARTECIPAZIONI (NP) ANNOUNCE THAT NEGOTIATIONS WITH ROSNEFT GROUP ARE CONTINUING FOR THE FINALIZATION OF THE BINDING AGREEMENTS REGARDING CONTRACTS RELATIVE TO THE OUTLINE AGREEMENT WHICH WAS ANNOUNCED ON 17 MARCH 2014
Milan, May 18th 2014 – Intesa Sanpaolo (ISP), Unicredit (UC), Clessidra and Nuove Partecipazioni (NP) announce that negotiations with Rosneft Group are continuing for the finalization of the binding agreements regarding contracts relative to the outline agreement which was announced on 17 March 2014.
It is expected that the negotiations could be concluded in a short time, given that the execution of the transaction remains subject to pending authorizations by the relevant authorities.
Camfin, with its associates ISP, UC, Clessidra and NP, as the agreements relative to the partnership between them in Lauro 61/Camfin remain in effect and in application of these agreements, today deposited at the headquarters of Pirelli & C. SpA their list of candidates for the positions on the board of Pirelli & C. SpA, for the purposes of the shareholder meeting called for 12 June 2014.
The agreements being defined will contain specific dispositions also with regard to the substitution, as a consequence of the execution of the operation, of the board members of Pirelli with new board members indicated by the new investors based on the new agreements.
