Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index rates Intesa Sanpaolo well above sector average
Intesa Sanpaolo has been included in the global Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for the fifth consecutive year.
The GEI index, dedicated to gender equality and inclusion, rated Intesa Sanpaolo with a score above 82%, about 10 points higher than the average for the global financial sector and 11 points higher than the overall average of the companies in the index.
Out of over 11,700 companies analyzed, the 2022 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index rated 418 businesses from all business sectors in 45 countries.
The Bloomberg index weighs five parameters:
- female leadership and talent pipeline
- pay parity
- inclusive culture
- sexual harassment prevention policies
- recognition as a brand that promotes gender equality.
In 2021, the Refinitiv Diversity and Inclusion Index recognized Intesa Sanpaolo as one of the 100 workplaces that stand out for their commitment to supporting inclusion and protecting diversity. Intesa Sanpaolo was also among the first European companies to earn the Gender Equality European & International Standard (GEEIS-Diversity) certification.
