With the Venture Catalyst Challenge, IMI CIB supports young innovative projects

The IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division of Intesa Sanpaolo, as part of its collaboration with Imperial College London, supported this year’s Venture Catalyst Challenge (VCC), the university’s flagship competition aimed at students, alumni, and young researchers who want to turn their innovative ideas into startups.

The initiative is part of the IMI CIB Division’s strategy to build synergies with top universities worldwide and to offer young people opportunities in the financial sector, helping bridge the gap between academic study and professional experience.

The Venture Catalyst Challenge involved 25 teams in a three-month program featuring mentoring, workshops, and meetings with investors. Finalists competed in five categories, including Energy & Environment, promoted by the IMI CIB Division, confirming its continued commitment to sustainability and innovation in the energy sector.

Over the years, the VCC has supported the growth of leading startups, establishing itself as a benchmark for the innovation ecosystem.
