Intesa Sanpaolo is launching a new model of corporate volunteering, bringing its professionals directly alongside third sector (non-profit) organisations.

The first collaboration is with Fondazione AIRC for Cancer Research: five managers from the Group will support the Foundation during working hours in strategic areas such as project management and human resources.

The initiative, developed by Intesa Sanpaolo’s Social Impact Area, aims to create a legal and operational framework that can be replicated with other non-profit organisations, generating a dual benefit:

  • strengthening organisational capacity in the non-profit sector
  • supporting Group employees in their personal and professional growth.

The project also involves the creation of an internal platform to collect applications from employees who wish to volunteer their skills based on the needs of partner organisations.

Through this initiative, Intesa Sanpaolo reaffirms its commitment to combining social growth with professional development.
