Neva SGR and Regione Lombardia mobilise €40m for cleantech startups
6 March 2026
Neva SGR, the venture capital company of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, has structured a parallel fund to its Neva II and Neva II Italia funds called Fondo Neva II – Parallelo Lombardia.
Regione Lombardia has committed €20 million to the fund as part of the Lombardia Venture STEP initiative, managed by Finlombarda.
The partnership between the Region and Neva SGR aims to support the development and deployment in Lombardy of technologies focused on decarbonisation, environmental impact reduction and energy efficiency, developed by local startups and scaleups that have — and maintain — their registered office and at least one operational site in the region.
Neva SGR will contribute an additional €20 million through its Neva II and Neva II Italia funds, bringing the total resources available to €40 million to support the growth of technology companies capable of generating industrial and environmental impact in Lombardy.
Neva SGR was selected among several national venture capital operators through a public competitive procedure.
