Intesa Sanpaolo backs Despar Nord with €30m for growth and jobs

Intesa Sanpaolo is supporting the growth plan of Despar Nord (Aspiag Service S.r.l.) through a €30 million financing package aimed at expanding its retail network, creating new jobs and supporting sustainability-driven investments.
The transaction falls under S-Loan Lavoro, Intesa Sanpaolo’s financing solution dedicated to companies investing in employment and corporate welfare, for which the Group has allocated €10 billion.
Supporting retail network expansion and investment in human capital
Despar Nord’s industrial plan includes new store openings and the refurbishment of existing locations through initiatives focused on energy efficiency, environmental sustainability and enhancing the customer experience. The objective is to strengthen service quality, raise retail network standards and support long-term growth across the territories where the company operates.
Alongside infrastructure investments, Despar Nord continues to invest in human capital through new hiring, skills development and initiatives aimed at fostering inclusion and employee wellbeing.
Intesa Sanpaolo supports employment-related investment
“S-Loan Lavoro” is an innovative financing solution developed by Intesa Sanpaolo’s Banca dei Territori Division. The solution offers incentive-based conditions for companies that promote job creation, with particular attention to young people and women, and introduce welfare initiatives that complement the provisions of national collective labour agreements.
