Eurizon enters active ETFs with the YourActive SICAV platform
27 April 2026
Eurizon Capital SGR is expanding its offering in the ETF market with the launch of the YourActive SICAV platform dedicated to active ETFs. The first product is YAS Robotics Active, an ETF investing in companies involved in the development of robotics and automation solutions.
Following the consolidation of the growth of its passive range, YourIndex SICAV - which as of April 2026 has reached 33 sub-funds and assets exceeding €19 billion - Eurizon is now seizing the opportunities offered by the strongly expanding European ETF market, which is increasingly oriented towards active solutions.
“Product innovation is a key success factor in the asset management industry. For Eurizon, it is strategic to compete with both its passive and active ETFs, which are increasingly used by institutional and private clients. ETFs are simple and cost-efficient instruments that, when offered to retail clients, must be complemented by advisory services that identify investment solutions aligned with their needs”
Maria Luisa Gota, CEO and General Manager of Eurizon
Passive and active ETFs are complementary to traditional funds and, together, can be combined in diversified portfolios to create value efficiently.
Evolution of Eurizon’s ETF platform
Eurizon Capital SGR has been developing its ETF platform since May 2025, starting with the launch of the first 10 equity funds and progressively expanding the offering to include fixed income instruments. The current range includes:
- 33 total sub-funds (16 equity and 17 bond)
- Global coverage across geographies and asset classes
- A focus on ESG criteria
- Institutional share classes and listed UCITS ETF share classes
Eurizon is the only company in Italy to manage all ETF-related activities in an integrated manner, from portfolio management to capital markets.
Growth of the European market and development of active ETFs
In 2025, the European ETF market exceeded $3 trillion in assets, with inflows of $390 billion and 621 new instruments launched (up from 317 in 2023).
While passive strategies remain predominant in absolute terms, active ETFs have recorded significant growth, rising from 10% to 27% of new issuances over two years.
