Intesa Sanpaolo, through its IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, has participated, together with a pool of banks, in a new €900 million sustainability-linked revolving credit facility in favour of Italgas.

The Revolving Credit Facility refinances the €600 million facility signed in 2024 and strengthens the financial flexibility of the Italgas Group.

The transaction, in line with the targets set out in the 2025–2031 Strategic Plan and in the Company’s Sustainable Value Creation Plan, is linked to specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relating to:

  • the reduction of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions
  • the share of women in positions of responsibility.

Confirming its role in supporting the real economy, Intesa Sanpaolo thus reaffirms its commitment to supporting companies in their growth paths, promoting increasingly sustainable and inclusive development models.
