Intesa Sanpaolo is providing €13 million in financing to support the international growth of Florian Group. The credit facility, structured through a minibond, is specifically allocated to Drvna Industrija Novoselec (DIN) Ltd. - €8 million - and Elda Drvo - €5 million - two Croatian subsidiaries, and is aimed at:

  • strengthening production capacity
  • improving industrial efficiency
  • sustainably upgrading existing facilities.

The transaction will support the Group's ongoing international growth strategy.

Florian Group S.p.A., headquartered in Riese Pio X (Treviso), is a European leader in the hardwood sector. The Group comprises 19 companies operating in Italy and other European countries, including Croatia, France, Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Intesa Sanpaolo Group has been a pioneer in minibond issuance in Central and Eastern Europe. Following the launch of this solution in Croatia in 2024, by the end of July 2026 more than 30 issues had been completed, supporting numerous SMEs not only in Croatia but also in Slovenia, Serbia, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

The transaction stems from the synergy between Intesa Sanpaolo's Banca dei Territori Division and its International Banks Division (IBD). Through this collaboration, the Bank supports SMEs, not only large corporates, with specialist advisory services, dedicated financial solutions and structured finance instruments, helping companies implement their industrial development plans and expand into international markets.
