Intesa Sanpaolo supports new pediatric Day Hospital in Turin

Intesa Sanpaolo has contributed to the creation of the new multidisciplinary pediatric Day Hospital at Regina Margherita Children's Hospital in Turin, Italy. The project has transformed more than 1,200 square metres into a state-of-the-art healthcare facility designed to combine clinical excellence, innovation and patient-centred care.
The redevelopment project includes:
- 23 medical facilities, including outpatient clinics, treatment rooms and consultation rooms
- 16 inpatient beds, including one high-security negative-pressure room
- 3 spacious and welcoming waiting areas
- 2 dedicated refreshment areas
- 20 restrooms, significantly increasing the previous capacity.
Featuring four specialist departments, namely Multidisciplinary Care, Allergy, Infectious Diseases and Immuno-Rheumatology, the new facility serves as an important referral centre for the treatment and management of complex pediatric conditions.

Beyond its high-performance engineering systems for climate control, modular lighting, continuous air circulation and energy efficiency, particular attention has been devoted to the psychological and physical wellbeing of young patients. The child-friendly design incorporates visual elements inspired by the changing seasons, creating a welcoming and reassuring environment.
With a total value of approximately €3 million, the project was made possible through the commitment of ADISCO Piemonte (approximately €1.28 million), with support from Intesa Sanpaolo (€1.15 million) and Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo (more than €500,000).
The initiative represents a tangible example of successful collaboration between public healthcare institutions, third-sector organisations and private partners, generating lasting benefits for children, families and the wider community.
