Venture Capital: Neva SGR invests in Straiker to advance AI agent cybersecurity

Neva SGR, the Intesa Sanpaolo Group’s venture capital company, has invested in US-based Straiker through the Neva II Fund, joining a $64 million Series A funding round alongside other international investors. The transaction brings the California startup’s total funding to $85 million. Straiker specialises in cybersecurity solutions for artificial intelligence agents.
Supporting the development of cybersecurity for AI agents
Straiker has developed a security platform designed to protect artificial intelligence agents, software systems capable of autonomously planning and executing tasks to achieve a specific goal. The platform enables companies to identify, test and secure AI agents before and during operational deployment, with the aim of reducing exposure to cyberattacks.
Less than two years after its launch, Straiker is already working with leading artificial intelligence labs and major Fortune 500 companies.
