Intesa Sanpaolo adheres to the "European Week for Waste Reduction", November 17 - 25

The seventh Italian SRI Week is coming up

The SRI Week - the main initiative in Italy on the issue of sustainable investment - is taking place from 13 to 22 November in Milan and Rome. The initiative is promoted and coordinated by the Italian Sustainable Investment Forum (Forum per la Finanza Sostenibile, or FFS), of which Intesa Sanpaolo is a partner. The programme includes thirteen events. Among the main topics discussed: sustainable finance and circular economy,  diversity and inclusion, sustainabile finance - benefits for investor and the community and SRI in Europe. (558 KB)

 

Intesa Sanpaolo confirmed in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices

The Intesa Sanpaolo Group was confirmed, for the eight consecutive year, in the "Dow Jones Sustainability Index World" and "Dow Jones Sustainability Index Europe", ranking among the global companies most engaged in economic, social and environmental sustainability. (441 KB).

 

Intesa Sanpaolo's fourth Community Paper is published

The Paper reports the 2017 contribution by the Intesa Sanpaolo Group in support of solidarity, social and cultural projects and initiatives. It collects a selection of projects supported and reports the contribution to the community according to the international Standard LBG, which provides for an evaluation of the results and impacts on the beneficiaries and the collectivity.

Intesa Sanpaolo's first People Paper is published

Starting today is online the first Intesa Sanpaolo’s “People Paper”, publication curated by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Welfare, in collaboration with the structures of the Group that deal with the services for people.
Dedicated to all colleagues and their families, the “Paper” encloses the interventions of the Group in the field of welfare, also in line with the Business Plan 2018-2021.

Intesa Sanpaolo's first Green Bond Report

Intesa Sanpaolo was the first Italian Bank to issue in 2017 a Green Bond, worth 500 million euros, fully allocated with 77 projects financed and more than 213,000 tons of CO2 emissions avoided, demonstrating the strong commitment of the Group in the sustainability and support of projects with a positive impact on the environment and energy efficiency.

World Environmental Day: the Intesa Sanpaolo Group’s adhesion

June 5 2018 - For the tenth year in a row, Intesa Sanpaolo is taking part in the World Environment Day, the well-known event established by the UN General Assembly in 1972 to raise attention and engage public opinion and governments on environmental issues and climate change (40 KB).

Intesa Sanpaolo's first Consolidated Non-financial Statement is published

The 2017 Consolidated Non-financial Statement (CNFS) includes and extends the content of the previous Sustainability Report as the result of long and well-established tradition and experience in sustainability reporting which distinguishes the Intesa Sanpaolo Group since it was first established and describes the results achieved, with a vision on the future. Intesa Sanpaolo participates in the "M'illumino di meno" campaign

The bank is again taking part in the "M'illumino di meno" initiative, sponsored by Caterpillar, a Rai Radio 2 programme, which aims at energy saving and rationalising consumption - 23/2/2018 (217 KB). 

Intesa Sanpaolo included in Corporate Knights ranking and Bloomberg Gender Equality Index

The ranking drawn up by Corporate Knights, analyzes a panel of about 6,000 companies worldwide, examined against 17 indicators that evaluate.

This recognition is even more significant considering that only 2% of companies listed at global level are included in the ranking.

Launched by Bloomberg in 2018, the Gender Equality Index (GEI), is a cross-sectional index involving all business categories and focusing on gender equality. (PDF 813 KB)
