Course structure and how to take part
The 'Management of Artistic and Cultural Heritage and Corporate Collections' course is aimed at 30 graduates with at least one year's work experience, preferably in the management of museums, archives and the artistic heritage of companies and private individuals, with the aim of enhancing their managerial skills and relations with the territory.
Under the organisational direction of Digit'Ed, it is coordinated by Prof. Guido Guerzoni, lecturer at the Bocconi University of Milan: the lectures are delivered by scholars from Italian universities, cultural and business managers, museum directors and officials, showing how the relationship between the public and private sectors is a fundamental lever for policies for the protection, management and enhancement of cultural heritage.
The Course will last four months, from 24 January to 24 May 2025, and will be held in presence at the Gallerie d'Italia in Milan and Turin. The teaching also includes project work and will be complemented by study visits to art venues, cultural institutions, corporate heritages and museums throughout Italy.
Fourteen scholarships are available, provided by the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, the 1563 per l'Arte e la Cultura Foundation, the Cariplo Foundation and the Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali Foundation.
