Intesa Sanpaolo was assigned 33th position (first Italian company) in the ranking which includes the 200 companies that stood out for their commitment towards "gender equality". The list has been drawn up by EQUILEAP - organisation aiming to accelerate progress towards gender equality in the workplace - through a research which involved 3,206 company in 23 countries.
The analysis covered four fields of investigation: Gender Balance in the overall leadership, management and workforce of a company; Equal Compensation and Work / Life Balance; Policies Promoting Gender Equality; Commitment to Women's Empowerment, transparency and accountability.

Intesa Sanpaolo is rewarded, during the "Diversity Day" in Milan, with the "Diversity & Inclusion Award", which is given to companies that are particolarly committed to the inclusion of people with disabilities in the world of work.

Intesa Sanpaolo was included in the Sustainability Yearbook 2018 di Robeco SAM. Robeco SAM is the company that every year evaluates enterprises for their inclusion in Dow Jones Sustainability Indices.

The Canadian Corporate Knights magazine confirms Intesa Sanpaolo - the only Italian group - among the 100 most sustainable companies in the world; about 6000 companies were evaluated compared to 17 indicators that analyze, among others, the issues related to the environment, human resources, gender equality, the commitment of management for sustainability, innovation and transparency.
This is a significant recognition, considering that only 2% of companies listed on a global level are included in the ranking.
